Apocalyptic Harmony

Debut Album - Out Now

Funk, jazz fusion and soul built around groove, exploration and musicianship.

“A magnetic assortment of instrumentation” - Mike Mineo, Obscure Sound.

Listen Now!

Eight tracks moving through funk, jazz fusion and soul, Apocalyptic Harmony is my debut full-length album and the result of several years of building my skills, recording and experimentation.

I wrote the record in its entirety and performed bass, guitar, keyboards, synthesisers, percussion and additional instrumentation across the project, recording and editing the music myself before completing the final mixing and mastering alongside Stuart Churchill.

8 Tracks • 42:42 • Released 21 August 2026

Behind The Music

Apocalyptic Harmony started from ideas I'd accumulated over several years, with some dating back to lockdown. In early 2024, while studying at Goldsmiths, I began bringing those ideas together and working out which pieces felt like they belonged on the same record.

From there, I went back and rebuilt the music from the ground up. A lot of the album came from experimentation — writing, recording and making the most of the instruments, musicians and equipment available to me.

The result became my first full-length independent record.

A young man sitting at a desk in a home music studio, using a computer with a digital audio workstation software on the screen. The desk has audio equipment, monitors, a MIDI keyboard, and audio cables, with a poster on the wall.

Where it all began! - late 2020

  • Chic — C’est Chic

  • Dexter Wansel — Life on Mars

  • Marvin Gaye — I Want You

  • Bee Gees — Children of the World

  • Lonnie Liston Smith — Visions of a New World

  • Donald Byrd — Places and Spaces

  • Roy Ayers — Red, Black & Green

Sounds That Inspired The Record

Not direct templates for the album, but records that have influenced how I think about groove, arrangement, atmosphere and musicianship.

Watch

This is a Cover video of me playing my parts to the albums first single “Living In A Dream”. It managed to get 50k views on instagram and still counting!

This is a video of Rory Dunsmore and myself covering our parts on the track “Cold To Touch” for my albums promotion. It was really fun to film and mess around with ideas of how to grab peoples attention!

More Music Is Coming

Apocalyptic Harmony is the beginning rather than the end of the project. I'm currently writing new material, developing future recordings and working towards bringing this music into a live setting.
